Only three more days until we find out the sex of our little giblet. I haven't been that anxious to find out until the last week or so. I think mostly I am dreading having to pick a name. It is quite the battle to agree on a name in this house!
I keep having very vivid dreams of being at the Dr. and finding out, but I have had just as many boy dreams as girl dreams. So the suspense keeps mounting! Plus, our little person is becoming quite the active little guest! I have had more than a few kicks that were pretty close to painful already at 18 weeks. For the most part, it is just little tickley wiggles that are very sweet. So it is becoming harder to forget that I am pregnant. Oh, that and my belly is once again starting to look like the acting host of another little person--especially after dinner! I can still wear all of my pre-pregnancy pants, though so my little passenger can't be that noticeable yet.
Of course, 99.9 of me just wants a healthy happy baby, but the other 0.05 percent of me thinks it would just be easier all around-save for picking a name-if we had another boy (my gut guess is still boy if I had to make one). That last 0.05 percent of me would kind of like to have a sweet little girl. There are so many more cute clothes for girls! It just isn't fair. But then, I never did like playing house or dolls. Honestly, how much fun is it to "pretend" to clean the house, cook dinner, do the laundry. I always went home from my friends' houses if they wanted to play house. I much preferred riding my bike or playing in the dirt.
So, I guess it is really 50/50 the whole way round. Tick, tick, tick...
I wonder what the baby will be in my dream about tonight?
ADDENDUM:
Okay, so pregnant dreams are especially weird. As above, I was wondering what the baby would be in my dream that night. Well, last night I did dream about babies, but not in the traditional sense. I dreamed that I laid three eggs. That is strange, you say. But they were not your average chicken egg--oh no! The subconscious mind of Kirsten M. Nelson would never settle for something so mundane! These were dragon eggs. From these eggs hatched a green dragon, a red dragon, and a blue dragon. They kept trying to eat cats, too. I sure hope that I never have to deal with cat-eating dragon offspring!

I can't wait to find out too! I'll stalk your blog until it's posted...I'm not going to venture a guess, though. I have no idea. I had no idea for my own little person. (I am 32 weeks today - can you believe it?!)
I don't have pregnant dreams that are THAT crazy! :) Quite the imagination, lady. And does this mean you could be having triplets since there were three eggs...or that you are going to have another after this one? Hmmm...
HAHAHAHAAA!! I love your wacky dreams!! They are so very crazy!
I am so excited for you to find out! I really can't wait too! But I do feel for you with the name battle which is ahead. Brandon and I really but heads when it comes to names - our styles are very different. So I know exactly what you are going through. So what time is your appointment because I will be waiting not so patiently to hear the good news!!
Love you lady!!
