Mindless Meanderings of a Pregnant Brain/Stomach...
So, I was just sitting here working and musing while smacking my lips about how much I enjoy my latest kitchen beverage creation. It my own knockoff on Starbucks vanilla steamer.
Directions:
Take 1 mug of milk and microwave until roasty-toasty warm (1 min 50 sec in our microwave)/
Remove milk from oven.
Take heaping teaspoon (or tablespoon) of caramel icecream topping of choice and stir into frothy, warm milk.
Lovingly hold and caress warm mug in hands to prevent hands from freezing from the subarctic weather we have been enjoying.
Mmm...you know what else sounds good? A barbecued hotdog with a little bit of catsup. Yep, I am definitely pregnant!
#2 is wiggling around in anticipation of such a gourmet meal. Good thing I asked Brandon to pick up some hotdogs on his way home...
You know, I really do love being able to feel our little man wiggling around. Yes, it may keep me awake at night (a combined effort with my psycho pregnant dreams and frequent potty trips), and it is starting to be a bit painful at times with a well-placed kick or punch, but it is still pretty darn cool (and weird). What a bizarre thing that there is another person inside of me...flash to the ever famous movie clip from Aliens.
I can tell that #2 is getting bigger and he is reaching up into my ribs with his little arms and legs already. He seems to roll around a lot more than Eli did. Eli picked one spot and hung out there until he was fully baked.
Another thing I absolutely love about being pregnant is not having to shave my legs!!! I seriously can go 4+ weeks with only minimal stubble on my legs. This is such a fantastic perk of being pregnant! I was really hoping that it would last after I had Eli, but nope, it didn't.
This decreased need for razors is wonderful because it starts to get a bit awkward trying to shave with that belly in the way...
I am quite excited to meet this new little person. I am also nervous about having two to take care of. I am sure it will be quite the juggling act for the first little bit.

Mmmmm!! Your version of a vanilla steamer sounds delightful! I just might need to make one for myself!
I too liked hotdogs when I was preggo (and I still like them from time to time.) Being pregnant definately has some perks!
Please don't mention food to me...I feel like everytime someone talks about food I need to try it and develop my own craving. Now I "need" a hot dog and my Stephen's mint truffle hot chocolate (I don't have any caramel on hand). Thanks a lot. :)
Pretty amazing, this pregnancy business, huh? Little Kelly Anne just did a dramatic drop on Sunday night. I now have a good inch and a half below my chest of empty space. It's made breathing a lot easier, but now my tailbone is going through it's own pain. I can't believe I'll have two in such a short time! I'll let you know how it goes....
