So, there may be just a hint of sarcasm in the title of this post. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Raffi, he is Eli's favorite person on this planet at the present. He totally loves Raffi. For the most part, Raffi isn't as obnoxious as a lot of the other children's song artists. Eli loves his songs and has a favorite song that he loves to listen to over, and over, and over, and OVER and on into the infinite. I am not kidding either! It is on repeat in his room right now and is every time he takes a nap or goes to bed at night. Whenever we are in the car we must listen to it repeatedly. I swear, once my kids are all grown up and moved away, whenever I drive around the streets of Boise, the sounds of Raffi singing and Xander screaming will float through my memory.
The name of Eli's well-loved song in Eli-Speak is "Iga Railroad Song" or more commonly known as I've Been Working on the Railroad. Isn't it strange (and maddening) how much little kids love repetition and become totally obsessed with something until you want to pull out all your hair by the roots and feel like your grasp on sanity has never been more tenuous?
I am going to go and make some freezer jam while listening to Iga Railroad Song over and over. Hopefully the my munchkins will stay asleep.

It could be worse... He could love the song that never ends... That reminds me of Anna and the Little Mermaid. I can still recite just about all the songs still to this day. So much for time eroding some memories... I wonder what Andrew is going to like to drive us crazy with his repitition.
the repetition thing can get slightly obnoxious at times...the need to watch the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER until we the parents can recite the entire Cars movie from memory, or have the Incredibles theme song running though our head as we try to sleep...
