Who would have thought that one little man could be SO MUCH FUN! He is always doing something new that just cracks us right up.
His latest adventures include loving to brush his teeth, loving sunglasses (his and mine), getting into every cupboard and drawer within reach, giving the dog and cat "love" (this is usually very slobbery - more on his part than the animals). He has started playing peek-a-boo with a blanket and random objects, and loves to check and make sure that whatever he covered up is still there when he moves the blanket.
He has three teeth now, two on the bottom and one on the top, with three more close behind. He has taken his first few steps (although they were teeny, tiny - I am still counting them as steps). I am so excited for him to walk. He is going to love it (plus it will give his poor little knees a break).
The last couple of days Eli has started to derive great enjoyment from rolling around on pillows and blankets on the floor. He's never been very keen on rolling over, but now he is delightfully fascinated with this new mode of transportation. It isn't unusual to find him rolling, and rolling across the room babbling to himself.
He is still fascinated by anything with wheels and loves walking behind his little car. He has also started using interesting objects to facilitate his walking endeavors including his little rocking chair that Grandpa Menard made for him. This is great fun!
This is such a fun age and we are absolutely loving it. His first birthday is fast approaching. I am so excited to be able to turn his car seat around and I really hope that he will be a better passenger!
Enjoy the pictures!
