My Growing Boys!

We had a visit to the pediatrician today for Eli's 2 year checkup and Xander's 2 month checkup. Here are the stats:

ELI:
32 lbs (he feels like 32 tons most of the time!)
36 1/2 inches
85th and 90th percentiles respectively

XANDER:
12 lb
22 1/2 inches
60th and 30th percentiles respectively

I was looking back at what Eli was at 2 months and he weighed 10 lb 13 oz and was 22 inches long. Xander is bound to outdo his brother so far. I am quite relieved that Eli has put on a few pounds (5 lbs to be precise) since his 18 month checkup. He has been such a picky little eater lately - it drives me crazy!

At 2 years old, Eli
LIKES:

1. Cars, cars, cars, trucks, diggers, motorcycles - anything and everything with wheels
2. Splashing in puddles
3. Throwing rocks in puddles
4. Kissing his brother
5. Being chased and tickled ferociously
   
6. Ice cream, goldfish, chocolate milk, cheerios, strawberries
7. Storytime and reading books (mostly books on motorized vehicles of all sorts)
8. Helping Daddy feed the dog
9. Playing with the steering wheel in Mommy's car
10. Going for walks and looking at all the cars and their tailpipes and all the sprinklers
    

DISLIKES:

1. Having his teeth brushed
2. Eating what Mommy would like him to eat
3. Bedtime
4. Sitting in his carseat when he would rather be playing with the steering wheel
5. Being couped up in the house

At 2 Months Xander likes:

1. Snuggles, snuggles, snuggles
2. Baths. This kid really loves baths! He gets mad when I take him out before he is done.
3. Looking around. He also gets mad if I move him out of the line of sight of an object he is studying.
   
4. Being smothered in kisses. He smiles and giggles when I give him lots of smooches.
5. Eli. He loves his big brother. Eli elicits the most smiles out of our little man.
6. Being naked. Thankfully he is getting better at not showering mommy when he is naked.
7. Chewing and sucking on his hands and arms. He gave himself his first hickey the other day. I took a picture I will have to post later. Ha ha!
   

Xander dislikes:

1. Cold wet wipes when he is sleepy (can't say that I blame him)
   
2. Not having immediate assistance when he is hungry, poopy, lonely, etc
3. Being in his carseat when he would rather be snuggled

He is such a good baby. He is sleeping SO much more than Eli ever did. I often find myself checking to make sure he is still breathing because he sleeps so much! He is such a sweet, considerate little man. He is getting so chubby and I love it. He has his daddy's super long eyelashes and adorable dimples.
