4 Months Old and a Blessing

After much deliberation (and much wasted time) we finally blessed Xander yesterday. It was decided quickly and done just as quickly due to Brandon's crazy schedule and coordinating with our Bishop's schedule. It was either yesterday or in October. We opted for the sooner rather than the latter. (Sorry about the lack of notice families - we are crazy kids).

There is just something about seeing those little people dressed all in white that makes me get all gushy and feeling so proud to be a mommy! I think it is just a very small inkling of what our Heavenly Father must feel when he sees us doing things well.

Xander looked so adorable all dressed up. He was so perfect during his blessing (although Eli started talking about the tailpipes on Daddy's dirtbike during the middle of it). We feel so blessed to have this little man in our home. He has the sweetest little spirit and is such a joy.

He also had his 4 month checkup (and shots) yesterday. He weighed 15 lb 3 oz and was 25 1/4 inches long ( 65th and 65th percentiles). He was pretty mad about receiving his shots, but hey - who wouldn't be? He got a little bit of a fever and was a little fussy, but like always, he is just such a good baby!

My little angel straight from Heaven!

This morning Eli grabbed a pillow and blanket and laid down on the kitchen floor and said "Nite nite, Mommy."
Eli LOVES to hold Xander now! Xander loves it too!

He is so cute Kirsten! He totally looks like you. It makes me laugh that little Xander actually weighed more that Carson at his 4 month check-up...maybe all my kids won't be beasts?

Ahhh! So adorable. I love seeing babies all dressed in white too. You can't help but think they just came here straight from Heavenly Fathers arms. So sweet.
