6 Months Old!!!

I can't quite believe it, but my little Xander is 6 months old today! Everyone is so right - time does go faster when you have more than one little person running around! Time DEFINITELY did not go this fast Eli's first year - that was the longest year of my life!

Xander still hasn't cut any teeth yet, but they sure are bugging him. Poor guy! I know I've said this a gagillion times or more, but he really is just such a happy baby! He is such a joy to have around.

At 6 months Xander likes:
  • Eli!
  • Eating real food - cereal, peas, and squash thus far (and cheerios and rice puffs)
  • Bathtime
  • The Moby - this is getting a bit more challenging for me as he is 18+ lbs now
  • Going for walks (in the Moby)
  • Being tickled
  • The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Old McDonald
  • Eating books
  • Being held and snuggled
  • Watching the cat and dog (and trying to eat them)
  • Holding markers
  • Grabbing at cords - he still has such a fettish for cords
  • Sippy cups (or whatever else Eli is into at the moment)
At 6 months Xander dislikes:
  • His carseat in the afternoon and evening - morning is okay, but after about 2pm it is a big No way Jose!
  • Baby Orajel - he gets so mad when I sneak some on his little raw gums!
  • When mommy is taking too long to mix up his cereal
  • Bottles
  • When I take something away from him that he is gnawing on or inspecting
  • Having his shirts put on
We love you little buddy!

I am trying to remember when the "everything in the mouth" phase ends, but unfortunately I think we have a LONG way to go!!!
