Oh, wait! That is no Banshee, it is just the Revenge of the Parakeet's Little Brother. Yes, my cute, sweet, mild-mannered little smiling Buddha has turned into a screeching fiend that shames Eli's screech-a-thon from a few months previous.

When Xander emits an ear piercing shriek Eli will look at him and calmly but firmly say, "Xander, that is TOO loud!"

Could it be due to his new tooth (yep he got his first tooth last week) and the one closely following it? Is he concerned that since he is the second child we forget he is there?

I surely don't know. All I know is that it isn't Christmas bells that are ringing in our house, it is my eardrums!
