10 Months Old

What, 10 months already? I know, I know, time sure goes faster when you have two little monkeys running around! Xander is getting so big! The last two weeks he is really starting to pack more pudge on. So cute! He is teething like a madman (how madmen teethe I am not sure, but it isn't fun). He has 6 teeth that are trying to come in all at once. Consequently, Mama isn't getting a whole lot of sleep at night. Most nights he is up every two hours or more often than that *groans and yawns*. He still LOVES his mommy! He is walking a bit more, but not more than between the couch or chair or from the couch to mommy. He practices his balancing a lot now.

Here are some other fun things he is doing:

*Clapping, before this month he would give a dainty clap by clapping one hand onto the back of the other instead of palm to palm
*Dancing
*Horsing around with Eli - sometimes Eli gets pretty rough but Xander laughs and laughs
*He loves being chased
*He loves to see what noise things make when he kicks them or bangs his hands on them
*He comes crawing Mach 10 whenever he hears the dishwasher or pantry open - ah the lure of the forbidden gives great speed
*He babbles LOTS and still says Mama often
*He still loves taking baths and gets excited when you ask him if he wants to take one
*He loves going for walks in the stroller
*He loves for me to take him down the slide at the park with Eli
*He is far more fond of examining various kitchen utensils than his toys
*He loves to put things in MY mouth
*He loves to give wet, slobbery kisses
*He loves being the very absolute center of my attention
*He likes to jump in his crib
*He gives the best big, squinty grins that show off his two teeth
*Blowing raspberries - this is especially fun when he has a mouth full of food

We love you little man!!
