Right now I am relishing in the new experience of Xander sleeping through the night for the second night in a row! Hallelujah!
The joy of last night's sleep was tempered by some excitement generated by Eli. He got his toddler bed yesterday. It is adorned with nothing else but Lightning McQueen and Mater. We tucked him in about 9:00 and it got quite real fast. We thought he had worn himself out. About 10:30 he started calling for Daddy. Brandon went in to find the scant remains of his vitamins scattered all over his floor. He had consumed 80+ of his little gummy vitamins. Yikes! We called poison control and were on the phone for a while. Eli was in great spirits. The lady determined that we were okay because there was no iron in the vitamins (whew) but he would probably have a bit of an upset stomach because of the vitamin A.
So we re-tucked him in his new bed and went to sleep. We woke up about an hour later to Eli's tummy deciding that all those vitamins weren't such a good idea after all. Eli was quite disoriented and surprised at his body's response. We put him in the tub and changed the blankets and re-re-tucked him back in. The first night in his new bed and he barfed all over it. I guess you gotta break it in somehow!
I went in and checked on him at about 4:00 and he was peacefully sleeping facedown on the floor.
Silly kids! BTW, Xander is still sleeping!!!!

So glad Eli was okay! That is a little scary!
those are some good times....glad that at least one of them is sleeping!
I hope he feels better soon.. gotta love sleep though
Oh no! Glad he has a big boy bed, though.
Wow, he sure out did his uncle in the vitamin department. Glad he's doing well. It's also, oh so nice, when a baby sleeps all the way through the night.
