Displeasure at more snow, Forts, and another hat

Well, the snow has kept on falling in our little valley. Yesterday morning it looked quite pretty with a new 3-4" that blanketed the ground and there was a bit of a fog making it look quite ethereal. So, rather than going to story time at the library, we opted to bundle up and make our way to the park. Brandon had to carry Eli because there was no way our stroller was going to make it through the snow drifts, and Eli decided he didn't like walking through the snow.

So we trudged our way down there, Brandon with his precious cargo, me with my big belly (and my precious cargo) holding the leash of an overexcited dog trying not to fall. We got there and set Eli down, and all he did was scream at having to walk through the snow. It was pretty funny aside from the fact that it was a lot of work to get bundled up and down to the park and Eli was not having any fun. I had some sort of vision in my mind of us all playing in the light fluffy snow having a grand 'ole time. But alas, story time would probably have been more appreciated.

We made our way back home and Brandon finished shoveling our sidewalk and driveway. Eli had MUCH more fun running up and down the shoveled walk. Little stinker.

Back on shoveled ground.

The other day, Brandon constructed a blanket fort for Eli on our couch. Eli had a BLAST with this. It kept him entertained for quite some time until he commenced demolition.

Here is Eli wearing Brandon's snowboarding helmet. He thought it was pretty cool, even if it was a bit heavy for his noggin.

And finally, here is a bit more belly. You know, I sure feel like I am a whole lot bigger than I appear in this picture. I am constantly finding my belly in my way around the kitchen, doing laundry, carrying Eli, reading him stories. We went to the Dr. Tuesday and every thing is still looking great. I have put on more weight than I did with Eli, but then I am able to keep my food down with #2. Weird how that makes a difference! Only 16 more weeks!

Well, Eli is awake now and screaming "Oh, no Mommy!" and "Hello, Mommy!" in his crib. He must have dropped the remote to his Moon in my Room.

What a fun fort! Eli seems to really love it. We need to try making a fort with Mya - she would probably love it too! And your tummy is so cute! Love it!! :)
