32 Weeks Down, only 6-8 Weeks to Go!
It feels like I can continuously hear the faint tick, tick, ticking of the timer on my baby cooker these days. Perhaps it stems from the constant reminders that I have of how big this baby is getting and how much I feel as big as Big Ben! Such reminders include my crowded ribcage, the little arm that keeps tickling my right hip (what a weird sensation to be ticked from the inside!), the little piggies ferociously kicking my ribs (I hate it when he finds my floating rib! OUCH!@!!) and the head smashing things and causing such frequent trips to the potty to name a few. I am getting very anxious to meet this little man on the outside of my belly! Funny how nature has a way of getting you motivated to take on the demanding rigmarole of caring for a newborn!
My appointment at the Doctor went quite well yesterday, save for the fact that I was nearly consumed with jealousy because my doc came into the exam room all nice and tan and proceeded to tell me about his fabulous vacation to a remote pacific island where they spent much of the time on the beach in 85 degree weather. Aside from that, my belly is measuring just fine, my blood pressure is still good, and I lost 3 lb. The last part was a bit weird, but since baby is measuring fine I guess I will take it! I am still having TONS of contractions, which are getting mighty uncomfortable these days, but they are just my body gearing up for the big day and I just have to deal with it for a bit longer.

Good heavens! I cant believe you're almost done hatching your little easter egg! I have literally 10 friends that are either pregnant, or just had a baby and its making me so baby hungry. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!! You are seriously the cutest pregnant woman I've ever seen in my life. Great job! So what is your work out like while you're pregnant? Oh yeah I totally want to know about the 30 day detox thing your sister did. They had a detox thing at the last practice Dan worked at and it seemed pretty cool. I couldnt do it because I was nursing of course, but I totally wanted to. This one was through the feet and was like a one shot deal but your sisters sounds a lot better, let me know, maybe we can start it here at our practice, I'm sure everyone would love it, especially since the practice is in a Gym.
So are you nesting? Is your nursery all cute? How is Eli doing? I bet he is super excited to be a big brother!
Oh yeah I have to ask you where you got the background for your blog, I LOVE IT!!! I need to re-do mine, it is just depressing!
Hang in there. You don't have much longer.
