5 Months Old!!!

It's true. My little man is growing up so fast! Xander turns 5 months old today! He is still a little bit sick, but he is starting to feel better. I still haven't started him on rice cereal yet (mostly because I haven't made it to the store - I have to be pretty motivated to take two kids to the store). Sorry Xander, Mommy's lazy! He is very interested in food, so I guess I should get my act together and go to the store!

He weighs about 17 1/2 lbs (on our home scale) and I can't seem to get him to hold still long enough to measure him. He has grown so much! His hair is growing back in, too. I think he might end up being blond after all.

Working on some teeth. The kitchen counter makes a great teething tool. None have broken through yet, but he sure gnaws on everything he can get his little hands on.

Here are a couple pics of Eli. He is ALL boy! His favorite spot in our gloriously manicured (cough, cough - well, not quite yet) back yard is, of course, plain ole dirt. He spends quite a bit of time driving his cars through this dirt, picking up handfuls of dirt and throwing it at different things, loading his dump truck up with a few handfuls and driving it around the yard, etc.
