We all had a fantastic Halloween, right? It was a great day and lots of fun. However, I did not forsee the ramificatinos of loading a 2-year-old up with all sorts of candy.
First: The Morning After
Yes, it is possible folks. The morning after Halloween, Eli suffered a SEVERE chocolate hangover. He was oh-so-grumpy and started out his day making not so polite demands for more of the same that put him in the state that he was currently in. At first I started to give into his demands just so he would stop whining. I soon came to regret my actions. He got even more ornery and his tantrums and whining began to escalate. Cold turkey didn't work much better.
Conclusion:
It was time for the candy to go. Last night Eli had his last sucker and then the candy "disappeared" in the night. I may be violating his constitutional rights of search and seizure and compensation for takings. Oh well. He's two. And I am the Candy Police. Goodbye Candy!!!
