It is true, I feel shockingly like a deer caught in the blinding glare of oncoming headlights. My baby is going to be 1 year old in two weeks!!! I am speechless. How did that happen so quickly?! I had no idea time would to start moving at light-speed this past year, especially since Eli's first year drug on
forever! What a strange thing. This has totally caught me off guard.
So, the past couple of weeks, these are a couple of Xander's new accomplishments.
- Walking like a champ and even running for short stretches
- Saying 'Daddy' and 'ball'
- Waving
- Blowing kisses
- Pointing at everything he can see so I will tell him what it is
- Loving airplanes almost as much as Eli when they fly overhead
I just can't get over how sweet and easygoing this kid is! He is such a snuggler and really loves his Mommy. He loves playing with Eli and loves being chased. He has four teeth (two top and two bottom) and has two more top teeth trying to work their way through. He has stopped sleeping through the night since our last trip to Pocatello (I don't really enjoy waking up 3-4+times a night) and he will cry till he throws up if we try and let him cry it out. I let him cry for 3 hours last night before I finally went in to get him. He is persistant. But somehow, the nighttime wakings aren't as big a deal as they were with Eli. I guess that shows some growth on my part.
Anyway, we are loving our boys and trying to enjoy every second we have with them at these fun ages! I just can't get over how much they grow and change before your very eyes!
