This is the description of one type of wiggle bug. The wiggle bug that is currently sharing the space of my abdomen I am sure looks quite different (though he may also be expert at catching fish one day). He sure is an active little man and it is so funny to feel an arm, a leg, a little bum, his little feet (though feet tend to be more painful than funny when felt). Sometimes when he is readjusting it just downright tickles as he tries to get an appendage in a comfortable position. It is so fun to watch my belly twitch and move. He has also been getting the hiccups over the last few weeks. That always makes me laugh, though the baby probably doesn't find it that amusing as evidenced by his wild thrashing after about 20 minutes of incessant hiccups.

Today Eli was snuggling with me and my belly (he loves to do this) and the baby started wiggling and kicking where Eli's face was resting, probably from having his already snug space compromised. Eli looked up at me with the most questioning look. I told him it was his brother wiggling. He then stood up and started doing a wiggle dance while chanting "brother, wiggle - brother, wiggle." It was so cute.

I am feeling so HUGE as of late. However I measured my belly's circumference and compared it to what I was measuring at when I was pregnant with Eli and it was exactly the same. I guess that is a bit reassuring, but man I feel bigger than that!

Putting my socks on in the morning is getting to be a real challenge, and forget painting my toenails! Yeah, that would be a highly uncomfortable feat in futility! However, I do remember somehow painting my own toes a week before Eli was born. It was quite the painful experience and I am sure I looked hilarious doing it.

Not too much longer now until we meet our little wiggle bug, (not that I am counting down every day as it passes!!!) I am just about at 32 weeks - that means only 6-8 weeks to go! (I am not even considering the possibility that this kid hangs out past my due date - that would just be torture!) I spend a fair amount of time wondering what he will look like, what his temperament will be, how Eli will react. I am so excited to get to know this little man!
