My parents came to visit this past weekend. Eli had SO much fun having two other people to play with other than Dad and boring 'ole Mom. He was so sad when they had to go! He has spent the last couple of days periodically saying "Grandma, Grandpa, home - miss you!"
It was so funny! When Eli was playing with my mom, he was patiently repeating a phrase to Grandma and waiting for her to repeat it (he will not accept an adult just saying uh-huh, or okay, or yep - you MUST repeat what he is saying for him to move on to the next item of business). My mom finally figured out what he was saying and repeated it. Eli praised her efforts by saying "Good job, Grandma!" I about died laughing. He was so enthusiastic when he said it and really seemed proud of her for figuring it out. I think he secretly is much smarter than all the big people and he has learned to be patient while we figure out the painfully obvious things in his world.
Helping Dad wipe the multitude of fingerprints off the bottom of our glass table (not the best table for children - it was definitely purchased before we had kids!)
Helping mommy cook dinner. He loves to be a helper in whatever I am doing. We are going to teach this kid to WORK!

We had snow this morning too...how depressing...I need spring...soon!!! Your little boy is so adorable. I can't wait to meet him one day. He sure has some proud grandparents. Do you have a name picked out for #2? We are having the hardest time on this one. Take care!
So cute. Glad you had a good visit with Grandma and Grandpa..
