Our First Decade

A decade - wow, doesn't that sound weird! It seems so weird that I am old enough to have 10 years of marriage under my belt. I guess when you start really young, then the years add up quicker.

We went to the park downtown this morning and threw rocks in the river with the boys and ate lunch by a big fountain. Eli was a little bit suspicious of the fountain. It shoots water up really high. He kept covering his head with his hands to keep any stray drops of water off his noggin. It was quite comical.

This evening we went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants - PF Changs - mmmmm. Our awesome friends, the Pruett's, watched Eli for us and Xander slept through dinner - it really doesn't even seem like we have a baby most of the time. It's funny how quiet a car drive is without Eli. There isn't a little voice coming from the back talking about all the different cars, diggers, horses, canals, etc visible on the drive. I know is was only about two hours away from him, but we sure missed the little guy! Anyway, it was a lovely dinner and nice to spend some time with Brandon.

I just feel so lucky to have married my very best friend. I know it sounds corny, but I really do fall in love with Brandon more and more as time goes by. I feel so very blessed to have been able to share my life with him and to have two absolutely adorable children with him.
