Here he is grasping the moby.
He has excellent neck control and is very interested in looking around. He gets quite upset when I move him out of the line of sight of an object he is studying and tries to crane his head around to find it. He can roll from back to side and side to back (Eli didn't do this till after he was crawling). He seems so anxious to catch up with his brother!
He is starting to smile more often. I still haven't caught any good grinning pictures. Eli is the one who elicits the most grins out of this little man. I am relieved that Eli seems to outgrown his violent tendencies toward Xander and is now quite enamored with him. Whew!! Eli loves to hold him and kiss him and show him all his cars. He tries to soothe him when he is fussy - so cute! In the mornings, Eli always goes up to Xander and says, "Hey Xander, little Xander! Good sleep little Xander? Kisses Xander - mmuahh!"
There is a little grin.
Eli loves to wash his feet in the sink. It was awfully quiet and then I heard the water running in the bathroom. This is what I found.
With all this dump truck pushing, Eli has acquired quite a few little cuts and bruises. The other day, Eli was inspecting his feet and he came up to me saying "Monday, Mommy - Monday?" It took me a little bit to figure out that he wanted a bandaid for his owwie. Every time he sees one of his little cuts he requests a Monday.

Little boys are so much fun. I love all of Eli's little antics...washing his feet in the sink is too stinkin' cute! I agree that June has gone by SUPER fast...these babies are growing like weeds.
It sounds like you have a new trumpeter! I am excited to reach the age where Eli is with Andrew. I am just amazed at how fast they are growing up!
